Hmmm! I had a post on here asking what every jackson county hunter thought of all the poaching going on! It disappeared, that's funny. That's y nothing gets done about it to just throw it under the table and forget about it.

That does not sound like an inappropriate post for a hunting forum. Why was it deleted?

You want to know how to handle this? Here's what you do. Find out who your local game wardens are, that's easy enough to do just call your local TWRA region/office. They will leave a message with the GW(s) to call you back. He will call you back. If he don't call soon, you call the office again and leave another message. Then you have an intelligent conversation with the GW about what you're experiencing, when, and where. If your game warden(s) are like mine then he will probably give you a direct number to get a hold of him and that is how you develop a relationship with law enforcement in your area and get the help you desire. Dont be like some people and just complain on internet forums and do nothing constructive about the problem.

Even if he has no plans to call GW, what is the reason it was deleted from this site.

Because this site is ran by the CJCP.
(Coalition of Jackson County Poachers)

Duh...who knows? Surely you've been around long enough to know how just about any topic or thread can get bent out of shape easily and go off on an inappropriate tangent.

Good point, you win. I misunderstood the original post. I thought he was seeking help to a poaching problem. I didn't realize he just wanted to know which moderator deleted his previous post.

So whoever says call your gw and he will catch em obviously hasnt had this problem with him. I have tried to get him to help. He knows what goes on, he has told me this personally. So what do you do? I seen a guy shoot one told gw who he is and he said he knew who he was . Total bs!!!!!!!

This is not the experience I have had in Blount county. However, if you feel dis-satisfied with the service what do you do...ask for the mgr, ask for the owner...i.e....go over the GW(s) head and speak with his boss, talk to your commissioner. There are several options - you just can't give up.

It isn't always about what the OP posted. Threads can be deleted for others' comments. No explanation has to be given and won't be published on the open forum. I've had several disappear and have no problem with it. The mods owe me no explanation. If you just have to know, send a pm to a mod and someone may tell you.

Jackson county has a long history and very bad reputation for poaching being rampant without much being done to try and stop it!

As a few have said, there is a right way to do things and a wrong way.

TWRA / TWRC neither one are perfect.
Nobody has ever said that, from tndeer or TWRA.

What we have said many times is this, http://www.tndeer.com will not be a sounding board to bash TWRA and their officers.

This may sound harsh but I really don't care. If you don't like not being able to bash them, go somewhere else. Pretty simple really.

Expressing concerns and asking for help is one thing, just going off on TWRA is not the same thing.

Thanks.
