So 22 is better, i wana eat and make a tree mount with several of them. Never squirrel hunted before. Thx

use a shotgun if you want to mount them. the smaller holes are much easier to fix.

And use a .22 for eating squirrels, so you don't have to look for pellets.

The pellets dnt go all the way through? Didn think id have to worry about that. Wat shot works best? Thanks for the info

Depending on where they hit the squirrel, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
I personally prefer 6 shot.

Low brass #6. high brass tends to tear them up a bit more.
