I've never seen a double barrel muzzleloader rifle.

David Price makes a very nice double barrel swivel breech flinter. I think you can get it in caplock as well....that is, if a budget doesn't matter.

Pedersoli makes the kodiak side by side. I don't know for sure of any modern inline doubles being made.

Not sure how accurate a modern inline "double barrel" would be.

Seems like that would be an oxymoron

Well I think a double barrel inline would be fine if configured like an open sight shotgun.

I'm not sure how a double barrel would work with a scope. I've never seen a double barrel center fire with a scope.

The Pedersoli kodiak side by side is the only one I know of. The problem with manufacturing any double rifle is figuring out how to get both barrels to fire to the same point of impact without a ton of hand fitting and trial and error firing. A scope would be no more problem sighting in than iron sights with that regard. I've considered buying a Kodiak in the past but never have. Not sure I've ever read a report of anybody tring one with sabots and modern bullets. I guess what keeps me from tring one is the fact that I only ML hunt to get the extra 2 weeks of deer hunting. My present single shot will get me by for that.

I did see recently though that somebody is making a double barrel 45-70 that has some sort of manual adjustment to change the barrels alignment so you could get different loads to shoot together from both barrels. Now that is interesting. Not sure I'd hunt with it but would be fun to play with in a cartridge gun.
