Saw nothing this AM. Got off the ladder at 930. Decided to get some coffee from the truck , warm up and still hunt. I had not taken thirty steps when 200 yards away the corner I was covering moved and six does stepped out. I froze then got down on the ground prone and waited for one to turn. I took the largest one. Pic to follow. It's at Adams now and now I am sitting on top of a saddle with a great North wind for the evening. Finally ! Bacon wrapped backstraps soon !

Ha! Was actually a antlerless buck! At that yardage they looked like girls morning out to me! Antlers were'nt even above hairline. Looking for Daddy now. About frozen!
