Beech trees better look out. They're everywhere on my lease this year. Visibility is next to none in some good spots. I already have 456,762,321 in mind to cut down. Besides that the usual food plot and stand replacement

Since my neighbor only put up hot air to buy the land I lease, it seems like I still have my lease. We have identified at least two new places that will support small food plots and we are going to be working on them. Also need to get out some mineral licks, cut some brush for shooting lanes, and try to clear new paths to our new blind locations to cut down on noise. Also going to pick up two more cameras. Strange, we found two places on this property where deer never travel and there is no reason I can see. Not a footprint, scrape, rub, nothing at all since at least last July. Not even trophy rock or attractants worked in those two spots but they sure did in other spots.
thats probably where your big bucks live

I'd like to find a lease or get permission to some new stomping grounds. I'll squirrel hunt a bit and scout. Then get ready for crappie fishing.
