Answer is a simple 'Yes' its required for everyone except landowner exemptions in TN. Unlike AL where I believe your legal without it once in an elevated stand.

As long as you realize you are not legal doing that unless hunting under a landowner's exemption.

I always wear my orange. Deer aren't going to spot that. They'll spot movement or smell you. Many deer have been killed by folks in blue jeans, flannel shirts, and orange hats n vest.

If anyone is concerned about deer seeing solid orange the camo orange is a good alternative.

I understand, in Tennessee, anyone from Alabama who is hunting is exempt from the orange requirement. In fact, we encourage you to where a large set of antlers on your head as well.

Okay. My take on this. I hunt my own land. I wear orange. I want to be seen and not mistaken for a deer by an idiot that shoots at movement. Now that someone is hunting the property behind mine, I hang orange on the backside of my tree so they won't shoot that direction. I am level with the ridge behind me and am not willing to take a chance. The deer don't notice so there is no valid reason to not wear it.
