Haven't been out that many times, but deer are eluding me. Altho I have harvested quite a few deer this season(time of year) fm field edges, even 3 does in one day once,and altho I expect to see a lot less deer this time of year, saw deer 7 out of 8 times in archery season, harvested one, so far I'm seeing nearly nothing. (did see one as I was parking to hunt, still very dark)
Could it make an appreciable difference if I moved my little chair blind into the woods, possibly along a creek, maybe a travel route?? I'm just not seeing hardly any tracks leading fm woods to fields and vice versa. Saw many tracks in archery season.
Think I may hunt Weakley county rather than so much Gibson cty. I usually see more deer over there but still like to hunt my farm in Gibson county. I do have permission fm a friend to hunt his land in Weakley county.
