I'd like to hear that crow. fine looking calls there. Do you use em as locator calls?I've never really bothered with locators mainly because of public land and there are a lot of crows already.

"Lot of crows already" is why I also got the hawk screamer.... I'm happy with them and can hardly wait to try them out this spring.
Swamphunter and I tried to get on a bird the better part of a day last year.... he wouldn't shock gobble at a crow call or a real crow cawing but he would "hit" regularly at the hawks that were in our area and being vocal.... just wasn't gobbling frequently enough to get a good location on him.... he seemed to be constantly moving back and forth in different directions but we couldn't close the gap to work him.... he wanted the "hen" to come to him.... no ifs, ands, or butts about it.
If I go into a place blind and he isn't gobbling on his own, I will use a locator to try to make him give away his location or to see if there is a tom in the area. I am a little impatient when it comes to going in blind about calling/waiting to see if something shows up unannounced.
If I get time to roost a bird, I will use it to get a good bearing on him for the next morning and then just get in close to him before daylight and see what happens.
If I know the area has birds frequently using it, I don't mind setting up and waiting.... calling every so often, that's if hunting time isn't an issue.

I don't know a lot about decoys. I just saw some at Walmart last March that looked good. Don't remember the name of the company that made them. My memory was affected by my heart attack.
Well, if I can get them and bring them home, I have a like new set of 2 or 3 sitting in my grandmothers shed... my cousin was going to use them but never got into turkeys like I thought he would.... they are yours if you want them....
