Hey i missed one saturday also. Now leave him alone  At fifty yards? I will admit it was very cool watching it come across the field from 500+ yards, stop and do the jump/nose dive at a mouse or something in the grass then turn and run towards us when I hit her with the squeaky. First one I have ever barked at to stop too. That was really neat. Too bad we didn't throw her in the basket.
It wasnt 50 yds. About 70 though
This one was a pretty blonde one too. Got pics on cam of it and thought "how cool would that be to kill it" then i goofed the shot

Did you have your orange on??  it might have spooked the dog and cause a rushed shot!!!

Yes sir, both of us did. Hat and vest both.
Set up back in a fence row packed with honeysuckle for cover just because we had to have it on.

that absolutely sucks!! if im not mistaken ,if you would have carried a shotgun or rimfire you wouldn't be required to wear orange??? wish we could get that changed
