How many while deer hunting text on their phone with other hunter's across the state?
I do it every now and then if i don't see nothing i always need something to do while setting in the cold LOl.
if anyone wants my cell number give me a pm and I'll send it you i got unlimited texting.

I will text from GA to TN and other parts of GA alot while on stand. I hunt north ga, friends hunt middle and father in law and some friends in TN. Its fun to compare notes on what everyone is seeing hundreds of miles away.

yeah i know that why i always put my phone on vibrate where it sounds like a feeder going off. last year i had 6 come in to the sound of it and i got 1 doe and a buck like that.
But in a few months I'll have internet on my phone then I'll be surfing the web while hunting LOL.

I was hunting one day and had to text the wildlife officer to see when the doe season opened back up. because i had a doe less then 40 yards from me. Well i had to let her walk because season didn't open back up until a week later.

I do take my cell phone with me to the stand. My wife makes me. Not for her to call, but for emergency purposes only. I do not have a plan for text. It cost me 20 cents per text. My phone also does not do internet, so no surfing.
I know deer have probably slipped by me, but I wish I could count the number of times I had my head up and just caught that little glimpse of something moving that would not have been caught had I been texting.
Really doesn't matter where I'm at, I'm just not a big cell phone user. I leave that up to my wife.
