Just found out he is in a men's medium shirt / coat, pants are 32 and he wears a 10 or 10 1/2 shoe.

On the arrow lengths, I will have him and his bow at my house tomorrow evening and will measure his draw length and arrow size at that time.

He does! Eight of them in fact and two thumbs to boot!

Blame that part on me. I've not seen a compound that wasn't set up for a release in quite a while and it didn't occur to me to set this one up that way.
While a release may not be a must-have piece of equipment in shooting a bow, I do believe it is as much a need as sights, stabilizers, sling, etc.

Clothes, I do have. Post his sizes and I'll see what I have. Glad he has fingers \:\) best way there is to shoot a bow. Hardly ever forget them in camp or lose them while in the stand.

Bowriter - Glad you understood the good humored sarcasm! He's 5'-8" or so and in a men's medium shirt. Probably wears a 32 x32 jeans.

Might have a shirt or four that would work, can't help on the pants.

PM me a shipping address and I will get some stuff mailed your direction. I even found a new in the wrapper full sized camo backpack left over from a past enterprise I was involved in. I found several medium shirts and pants, even a set of Camo bibs. (Not mine, my sons old stuff)

it started out as enough to get him going but as usual folks here took the ball and rolled with it.

Below is an updated list:

• Roost1 - Arrows & Stabilizer
• Mag - arrows, field points, camo
• dh1984 - broad heads
• in the dog house! - climber stand
• scn – arrows
• Unicam - is digging in his closet
• Bowdacious - short - n - sweet release
• Smyrnagc – harness
• J.W.308 – quiver
• Kirk - Camo
• Bowriter - Camo

It looks as if I will have more than I bargained for! I know I missed a few things that folks mentioned and probably things I wouldn't think about getting. I'm not sure what else we need but whatever you choose to donate will be put to good use I assure you.

If there is more than this young man can use I do have other guys and gals that I get to be "Papa Bear" to that have the desire to go hunting but do not always have the gear. They call me that because they say I growl and sound like a bear...go figure. Extra gear/camo for such a purpose would be awesome to have.

I really like the idea of paying it forward to a younger generation by giving them the skills and knowledge to become self sufficient. In my mind if these kids are with me at the lake, river, creek, or woods it's one less opportunity to do something stupid and the chance to be constructive.
