I just disked about 1/10 acre and planted wheat and clover. I had the soil tested and it is not really lacking anything. This is surrounded by woods and pastures on all sides, my little plot runs south east - north west and will get sun all day long. Can I expect results by turkey season? Would you suggest fertilizing it and if so when would I want to do this? This is mostly just to give me something else to do but would like to draw more deer and turkey ( if this is even possible ). Thanks for the help.

Give it a couple of months of growth, then fertilize in the early spring. There will not be enough growth in the cold weather to use the fertilizer, and it will leach out before it is used if you fertilize now.
