Just be sure the sun cannot hit it. I put a drink holder on a tri-pod one time with duct tape. The coke can stuck up about 2 inches. The sun would hit it and you could see that thing all over the clear cut.Buddy called me on the radio and told me he could see a flash and he was 300 yards away.

Been there done that. I had a stand last year that had a trail behind it that I didn't know was there. I couldn't move the ladder so half the time I sat sideways so I wouldn't pass out.
