First pic looks 4.5 and second 3.5 to me.
It seems interesting that this deer and the one BSK posted noth have scarring on the neck. Those bucks sure were very active breeders

In DNA parentage studies, it's often found that the most active breeding bucks have average to below-average antlers for their age.

I was thinking the same thing, I have known for years that the subordinate bucks do most of the breeding ,But why are they all licking the same apple branch.

I have known for years that the subordinate bucks do most of the breeding...
Actually, they aren't the subordinate bucks, but the dominant bucks. Too many hunters assume that buck dominance is driven by antler size. Nothing could be further from the truth. Dominance is usually driven by body size and aggressiveness.
But why are they all licking the same apple branch.
That is one way deer communicate--through licking branches, scrapes, rubs, etc. They do most of their social interaction through scent-marking.

He looks by body size to be big enough for 3.5 but if 2.5 then he is really exceptional in my opinion. Rack looks 1.5....lol.

None of the bucks pictured look to be 4.5 or fully mature. I would give them all the chance to atleast mature and see what they are before killing them without ever knowing their potential!
