I need a really good jerky recipe I want some to die for jerky for dad to try out. He can't have the sweet stuff or the hot stuff so i need something kinda in the middle.

What type of meat are you using, whole cut or ground??
If ground, I would suggest you stop by Pro Bass and pick up a box of the Backwoods jerky mix in mesquite flavor, that is some really great stuff.

Whole cut i don't use ground it take to long to cure out.

Thanks i'll give that a try. i made some one time that you had to have a water tanker with you when you ate it because it was so hot LOL.
