Report wanton waste and dumping?

Someone dumped a deer in the entrance to a farmers field near the 90 degree curve of Tom Ferrell road in Portland, TN. They splt the hide and pulled out the backstraps and dumped the rest.

The only wanton waste regulations are on WMAs and with migratory birds, so there is no ww violation. It may be a littering violation and can be reported to the sheriff's dept.

I understand. It chaps mine as well. It is pretty low just to jerk the backstraps out with as many people around that would appreciate some deer meat. It wouldn't be surprising that it was an illegal deer as well, but without any more info than that it would be next to impossible to do anything with the that one.

It has happens at my lease the last two years. I sure would like to catch em, but it happens at night.

There is one in the creek that was thrown off the bridge at the back of my farm right now. I see one or two there every year.
