This is bad, but you guys are reading the maps wrong. The access isn't restricted all the way to the yellow Tailrace" boundary. It's only closed inside the orange bouy line and cross- hatched area. Only 800 feet at OH, not 3000.
Still, it's the best 800 feet.
BTW I stopped at OH today and there's a fence blocking the stairs and sidewalk leading to the dam from the first parking area. How long has that been there? The article said only boat traffic is being stopped, not bank fishing.

It looks like they have taken down some of these maps...I keep getting 404 errors when I click the links.
