what is the size of the stainless media? can it be used in necked down cases such as .243?
The SS pins are somewhat like needle bearings. My pins are about .015" diameter and about 3/8" long. They easily pass thru flash holes but don't get hung up.

I couldn't belive it got a Midway flyer in the mail and on page 9 there was a tumbler for stainless and the media. This is looking more intersting all the time.
I have been using the ceramic media in my RCBS vibrating tumble for over 1 year, no problems as of now, it was not recommended for ceramic use, I decided not to purchase a new tumbler until I wrecked my existing one
so far no problem with a full package of ceramic media, 100 pcs of .40-65 brass, water, dawn and lemon juice

CL--let me get you the exact information but yes, you can use it inside cases as small as 222. You can find the media everywehre-I know a guy who made his own by cutting copper wire into short lengths. BB's will not work half as well as the regular steel pins.
