Anyone have any clue what this stuff is? I suspect it is from the clover family of weeds, but no clue what it is. It is a cool season weed I know, because it has just starting popping up in areas that are low-lying by the lake and moist soil. I had a group of does feeding on this stuff for about 30 minutes last night and have seen it before just don't know what it is.

Not sure what it is really. Kinda looks like some type of chickweed. It looks like this stuff I have everywhere in my woods and I have seen deer eat it too.

And you say it could be a type of clover, and it could be Alyce clover. I dont really know what Alyce clover looks like in detail, but I think that it does look different than the red, crimson, and white that we normally plant in our food plots. Could also be arrowleaf clover.

It is henbit......or chickweed.....controllable with 24-D....or roundup if treated in dormant grasses like bermuda in the winter.
