Killed another doe in Montgomery County on Saturday morning, this is the 2'nd one sabotless with the Remi 700 smokeless conversion muzzleloader. Pretty incredible exit hole in the pic below, that is bone and cartilage blown out of the hole, passed completely through both shoulders. 65 grains H-4198, and a Parker 275 ballistic extreme, 50 yard shot, dead on contact.

I'm not gonna disagree with you, I've only killed 2 with these bullets and it is destroying a lot of meat. I very well may go back to my saboted 195 Barnes, just as dead with less damage.

Actually, try a shot low through the chest and report back. Kind of interested in these smokeless conversions, you have another thread somewhere detailing them?
