I bought my archery and muzzleloader licenses this year and have not hunted any of the gun season. If I want to use my muzzle loader during gun season do I have to purchase the rifle license or will my muzzle license suffice?

it is weapon specific. if you use your muzzleloader during G/M/A, the muzzleloader license covers you.
