Bought my son a Marlin 308 Express for his birthday a few years ago. He seems to be stickin with his 260, so I asked him if I could take his 308 in the morning and he said yes.
Nothin has been shot at with this gun...I hope to change that in the morning.
You know how it goes...new gun ....really hard not to shoot the first legal buck.lol

Would Love to see how it performs.

The .308 Marlin Express has some very impressive and more than adequate ballistics for long shots, and even though I hunt with a single shot Handi .270, I can see how a lever gun would be a great choice for someone like myself that shoots on either side.

How's the trigger, though?
