What's your fav. Crank bait... and why?

Mine is a KVD square bill 1.5 in bluegill color. Its pretty hot on the Hill

I use em on muddy ledges up in the creeks.

Mine too. A square bill is easy to throw and work... And catches fish. I throw the 2.5 mostly on 17-20 pound mono with 7 foot medium-fast.

I don't usually fish with crankbaits, but when I do, I prefer a strike king bitsy minnow. Will catch anything from bluegills to rock bass and largemouth and smallmouth bass.

When trolling I use a shad rap

Any deep diving crawfish colored crank bait for me. Wears the smallmouth out on those steep rocky banks.

I also like a crawfish colored crankbait, especially when using the Rebel Wee R. Maybe an older bait, but they still catch the heck out of fish. \:\)

I like Bandits in 300 series. X rap shad, red eye shads, square bills, and 5 and 6xd's. The fish usually tell me what color I need to throw.

Good one, as well as the little peteys and Mimics. However a Shad rap is likely the best shallow water crankbait ever designed!

Agreed. The Shallow Shad Rap is my go to bait for the shallow water fall walleye bite.

I'm partial to the Bagley BB1, BB2, and BB3's for my square bills during the pre-spawn and shallow water fishing. Also like the Bagley DB series for deeper running crankbaits.
