Different fish for sure.
I think it's because they roam around a lot and so you may wait a while before they come back around to your side of the lake

Gonna take a bucket today and do alot more moving around I think.
Throw it out there, let it drift in the wind a bit, maybe cast again, then move.
We will see how that works.

I have always caught trout (stockers) on those small acme kastmaster spoons. Trout will nail them things!

Here is a little trick to catch the stockers. Don't tell anyone I told you.
Take a hand full of very small gravel, bb sized if you can find some, and throw it into the water. Watch the fish congregate in that area. Throw your bait in next and catch them. Repeat when the action slows.
Those stocker trout have been fed pellet trout food all their life and it is scattered on the water surface every day for them. When you throw the gravel, it sounds like feeding time to them and they come in on a string.
