Found some Hornady 55 grain V Max ammo today. Interesting story for sure. It is the "zombie" stuff, but best I can tell it is the same bullet as the regular. Hope it is anyway.
Can't wait to sight my new baby in and see if she likes it.

It sould be fine...its the same bullet as the Critical Defense from Hornady. The ZMAX uses Hornaday's AMP jacket which is a thicker more concentric jacket for accuracy's sake. The VMAX is a thin walled jacket to aid in explosive expansion. Both will work just fine. let use know how they work in your new rig.

I thought of getting one of each caliber of the Zombie stuff. Probably collectable one day once this zombie craze passes.

Yes it is the same i shot both in my gun because the zombie was cheaper and u couod not tell tbe difference between the a-max and the v-max. Plus i thoight the green tip looked cool.
