just had a friend drop 2 deer off at the processors for me. i would like to make something with the ground meat. looking for a place to start.

Here's one I found.....but with this group, I see no need to add "Liquid Smoke" to anything. Fire up the dang smoker.

I've seen some simple venison peperoni recipes out there, but I have not tried them myself.

I do eat deer, but only in certain forms. i love jerky and summer sausages. I just cant take a big rare deer steak. the flavor is a litle too strong for my liking. we raise cattle and put grain fed steers in the freezer so i really dont need them for steaks or roasts.
