Where are y'all seeing these bobcats
"Seeing" them, or more like not seeing them is the key. Cats are so stealthy, elusive, and of course, primarily nocturnal.
The most likely way to find a cat is not to actually see it, but to see where it's been by scat and scratches and other sign.
They'll prove to be as elusive as a wise old trophy buck.
I'd be willing to bet there's plenty of cats in the places you regularly deer hunt.
That said, some of the best cat habitat in TN would be on the Plateau, and Cherokee National Forest. Big forest, steep, rough and rocky.
