So the weather as of now is forecasting 15-25mph northwest winds for Friday. So where would you guys hunt? I have the entire day I can go daylight to dark. I've been hunting the big woods and haven't seen much of anything lately but have the oppurtunity to hunt some food plots on the edge of some big pine plantations.. Open to any opinions.

Get in the pines! I would still hunt across the rows, poking my head into each row and looking left and right real slow before I step into it. Those high wind will conceal a lot of noise and the pines will afford the deer some protection from the wind.

Try to get in a spot where the hills block the wind going into the food plots.

I love hunting pines that way but these pines are prob 15-20ft tall and very thick.. You can't see 10yds when your in them.. There are a few food plots on the interior of these pine thickets.

That's usually my philosophy. But I haven't got to hunt as much this year and I e had a not so great year. So I'm going regardless of the wind.

Get in the pines or down in a draw out of the wind and still hunt thru it.
