Better yet contact them and let them know you will never shop there again.

http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/home/i...007=Search&008=

Scroll to the bottom and send Customer Service an email.

Otherwise, they will never know.

Even if you did... It fits. I sent my comment to their customer service, letting them know that I will be driving 30 miles past their store to give my patronage to a retailer that has the best interests of their core customer base at heart.

Kinda like grandpa said about buying stuff off of tv... Don't do it... Guess you shouldnt relay on a place that sells yoga paraphanelia and golf clubs to be your ffa either.

Just told my wife this very thing yesterday - as we drove past the place.

I sent my message to customer service. I honestly hope this cripples them, we don't need an outdoor store that isn't going to support outdoorsman.

Same here.

Drove right by them today on the way to Sportsman's Warehouse, then Academy.

Won't go back.

By far the highest priced of the 3 in these parts anyway.

I noticed that as well. I wonder if it is because they are sold out... I was in an Academy yesterday and as I mentioned earlier there were 3 that went out the door while I was BS'ing to one of the guys. Maybe 30 minutes. They only had 4 left to sell in the entire store. People walking up and just buying them.
So now, which I am not against, instead of having these guns in the hands of people that know them, want them. There will be thousands in the hands of folks who never thought of owning a gun before. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction........

Yep, most retailers are on fairly thin margins. If you hear of some kind of "support Dick's" movement, like the Chick-fil-A thing, that would be different. But there won't be. Adios Dick's, you crossed the line. Remember, there are always consequences for your actions. I'm a member of a nationwide forum and I am sure I will see the same thinking there.

I've no doubt their corporate offices have already determined that the loss of any business brought on by their decision not to sell AR-15's would be far less than the losses they would incur from possible boycotts by their many other sporting goods yuppie customers who dislike evil black rifles.

This could definitely be the case, I have spent most of my money over the years with them on fishing gear and exercise equipment.

Dicks is going to be tied up in court fighting Troy Industries over their decision to stop carrying modern sporting weapons. Unless they had some iron-clad lawyer-ese in their contract they're going to lose millions in court.

The last time I was in there before the shooting they had ALL of Troy Industries products on discount, they were selling them all out.
