Talked to Richard a little while ago. Since we may need a whole day, looks like we will hunt on Saturday, March 2nd; to assure that we have an opportunity.

Portland, Tn is about 15 minutes West of Meadowbrook Farms. There are 2 motel/hotels that I know of.
Deerfield Inn (615)323-0001
Comfort Suites (615)325-8887
(By I65)
Gallatin, Tn is about 20 minutes South of Meadowbrook Farms. It definitely has more restaurants to choose from, and it also has a Super Wally World. Here are some of the numbers:

Jameson Inn (615)451-4494
Comfort Inn (615)230-8300

Since I've never done this kind of hunting. Is there a back up plan if it raining all day or thunderstorms

Lol as a diver there one thing I hate more then Cold water. That's working in rain. But I can hunt in it all day long lol

Me and another member would be interested in joining yall on this hunt. The only birds I've ever hunted is turkeys so could some of you more experienced guys recommend what kind of shells I should get.
