I sure am excited with this thing. 35mm tube. Light transmission is excellent. The only concern I have is with the mil reticle and Moa turrets. I have limited experience with this type of set up. Any advice would be appreciated. Just seems like more math. Also, I wish this was FFP but beggars can't be picky

I was a Marine sniper for 11+ yrs........you need to google te hell out of milliradian mathematics.......take a long range precision course....if they are in your scope, learn to use them

first you need about 1 inch riser blocks,,the math on your question isnt that hard,,3.6 MOA = 1 Mil

Honest and accurate data on your gun will make that mil scale do a lot

Thanks for the input guys! And thanks for your service Cory. I've been reading American Sniper the autobiography by Chris Kyle. One bad dude, let me tell you what.

I'm going to read and make the best of this setup. I actually found out that it is mil/mil so that makes me happy.

Now I have to figure out the range estimation..etc. I believe it is "true" mil at 12x (due to it being SPF) and this is where the distance estimation formula must be applied from.

I'm looking into load data with various rounds and really look forward to seeing what this thing is capable of.

Also, Mr. Big could you elaborate about why the 1" risers are needed? To gain MOA? I think that this scope has a 140 moa of elevation adjustment. If it's eye position you're refering to it feels pretty comfortable where it is. Anything you have to add I'll listen though.

Appalachian.

I guess the scope is so big it just looks like it is mounted too low,,

keep good notes and if your spotter is any good you should not take more than two rounds to make any shot,,

measure how much you missed by and either dial it in or hold it off and get a bullet in the air,,faster the better before conditions change,,

I had just a few minutes of shooting light left and these two groups we're my last 5 shots at 50 yards. I was shooting propped on top of a cattle gate. I 'm happy and look forward to getting out some distance.
