I'm in the market for a good yote gun. I have narrowed it down to either a savage model 10 with accu-trigger topped with a 3-9 nikon scope or a T/C venture. I am leaning toward the savage but I'd like the input from yal. The savage I can get for $542 and the t/c for $422 w/out a scope.

Savage...but i have never looked closly at the TC....and i own 9 bolt guns and all are Savage/Stevens...My predator rig is Stevens 200/.223

IMO the CZ 527 is the best 223 size action on the market,,I wouldnt trade mine for both the Savage and the TC.

I have a 204 Venture. It does what it is supposed to. Great trigger, shots 0.5in groups. Nothing flashy but it gets the job done thats for sure

We have a 280 T/C venture that is remarkably accurate with a 308 waiting to get to the range. There are a lot of choices.....
