42 lbs is about as big as you will see even though alot of people believe they weigh 75 to 100 lb. Good job and kill everyone ya see.

Thanks guys. Benelli- there is one runnin around macon county thats bigger than mine. I saw him last year while shed huntin a farm I have permission to hunt. I had to stop and stare at him as he was staring at me. He was BIG. everythin about the face said coyote but the body looked to big to be a yote.

I have killed one over 50# and another over 60# They can get HUGE, if they ave access to easy food.

Was any of yours running like a pack? Mine was in the lead with another one but there were more in the thicket that scattered when I shot. I wondered if they were running as a pack. I didnt think coyotes did that but more people have told me they have seen anywhere from 5-8 runnin together. I usually see them alone this was a first that I have seen more than 3 around each other.

Both of mine were loners, but I have seen as many as 8-10 together this year hunting.

Here is a pic of a 50# plus alpha yote......and a 50# bobcat. People will tell you they do not exist but although they are rare they are there in some areas.
