Hey they say a country boy can survive. Well a redneck improvises. Here's the Murray Furguson 40, inch cut that is.
Spreading the buckwheat a couple months ago.
As you can see we bout GOTRDONE.

Here it is a week ago. Deer are tearing up the beans and hopefully the birds will clean up the buckwheat after we cut it in a few weeks.

Ok, the ground was turned with a tractor. I had brought the mower to the lease to top some invasive lespadeza that was coming up in the oats we planted in another field. While this field was being disced with an ATV I got tired of just sitting around waiting so I hooked up the spreader and the picture tells the rest of the story. Any one got a donut cushion?
