Just got this bow, never owned a crossbow before. I shoot verticle mostly but wanted to get step son interested in bow hunting ( he isnt dedicated enough to practice)Anyhow, how do ya'll rate this bow. Hope to sight it in this coming week when work will allow. Have a Ohio hunt first of year and might try it then. Any input on this appreciated.

That's what I have. It's a good solid, accurate crossbow. Not the fastest or the quietest, but very consistent. Back when I got mine, they didn't come with string stops, but I bought them and added them on. Looks like they come with them from the factory now.
I originally bought a Strykezone because of the speed, but had nothing but problems with it breaking strings and spliting limbs and safety not working. Took it back and got a refund after a few weeks. The guy at Bass Pro said 4 of the 5 they had sold came back with problems. Never had a hint of trouble from the Parker in 1.5 years. Have to admit that the Strykezone was quieter though.
