And, here's my 2 cents:
Forget the individual positions you are being offered and look at the industry of both as a whole. Which career path would give you more options or pay more money, etc? What if you end up really not wanting to be a foreman? Can you easily transition into another good paying career with the experience you have gained or can you easily transition into another job with parks and rec? Try not to get tunnel visioned into thinking about the (2) specific jobs that are on the table. A lot of times, in my opinion, a person is better to look at the industry or in some cases the whole company and make a decision that way. Let's face it in many places, in many industries, once you get your foot in the door and prove yourself many times the doors open on their own. I have a degree in business, got a job with a big name company you've heard of and the position was somewhat in the field of my degree, and now i work in a different field for the same company that doesn't even require a 4 year degree and has NOTHING to do with what I went to school for and I make a whole lot more money than the position I was in that required the B.S. and am happy.
