Am I correct with this interpretation of the regulations.

Turkey can be taken with a bow during the Archery (A) season, but Turkey can not be taken with a bow during the (A/M) or (A/M/G) portions of deer season?

Correct. As stated in the regulations, it is only during the archery only deer season.

SCN: When are you opening up the suggestion box for next year?

It would be nice to have the extra opportunity to take a turkey with the bow later in the season. The turkeys know the season dates and have been taunting me since the season has closed.

The season recommendations will start in January.

Unless an archery only deer season resurfaces for later in the season, I would doubt that TWRA would be comfortable opening turkey up during the g/m/a season.

i would guess to remove the temptation to shoot a turkey with something other than a bow.
