Your exactly right. Pointless to get mad, upset.worried, BP up!
This man can do ANYTHING reguardless of law, facts, proof,video,ect.....
Its going to be ignored, covered up, not reported, lied about, flipped the blame, class warfair, racist, whatever.

I dont know how you can even be a Dem and lie to yourself about these things. I couldnt do it if a Pub was so outragess!
I know Dems are dumb, but not all and even the ones who may have some smarts just ignore things like this for sake of party, and to never admit wrong.
I know there are pubs who also do it, but nothing on the scale of dems.
JUst might as well block it out of your mind, cause just like CL said "Another Obama scandal.

Which means no scandal at all"

The Deferred Prosecution Agreement is a ball-buster for sure. HSBC has to employ and pay for an independent monitor and staff of at least 3 for a period of 5 years, could be 6. The monitor has the agreed-upon authority to stick their nose any place they please to insure the bank is continuing to abide by the law. Any resistance, obstructions, denials, press releases that in any way would tend to make the bank look innocent, and the DPA will be abrogated and criminal prosecution will begin and all of the damning material HSBC coughed up in an attempt to avoid criminal prosecution will be used against them in felony proceedings.

Good. Not perfect. But Good. This place has an attitude that they are above the law. Let me give you an example: In one area of Sinoloa state in Mexico HSBC transported back to the USA 4 billion dollars. In One Year.

That happened in 2008. Bush, Paulsen and Obama brought out the fire extinguishers that you paid for to put out any fires at the major banks. Meanwhile banker bonus's skyrocket again.

How's your bonus doing this year?

Chippewa-
Don't quite understand your post. If you read the official documents you will see an extended period of time-over 8 years-the bank blatantly and knowningly violated US laws. The Senate documents, questionable source I know, walk through a series of illegal activities by the bank in country after country, all of which ended up running dirty money through the US finance system. Should they have gone to jail, yes, no doubt, absolutely. Will they? With some luck maybe so. I ain't holding my breath but the DPA holds out hope.
