Maybe TN can add the last sentence to our regs...

Good job Nebraska. Agree 100%.

You leave my salt licks out of this!!! You hear me Wayne? ;\)

So I guess you guys still flake stone points, cut limbs, and fletch arrows with feathers from birds you snare? Or you use spears for deer hunting.... maybe muskets from the Civil War days?

IF baiting were made legal, that doesn't mean hunting would be any easier.... Have you ever hunted in a state where baiting was legal? You think any of those hunters in Texas really give a flying flip what you think about their hunting ways? Stop being so obtuse.... There is not telling how often it happens already across the state.... then you have stores like Wal-Mart openly advertising "Deer Corn" and all those other "attractants" for deer.

I do think the laws should be amended to include: It does not allow adjacent landowners to bait an area and prevent the take of animals on property owned by others.

I would bet that atleast 50% of hunters bait excluding those that only hunt public land. I know all my neighbors that hunt bait.

I don't understand why this is such a big deal....If it's illegal than it's a non issue. If it becomes legal hunt the way you want and don't worry about what others are doing. It really is ANNOYING all these people that are so worried about what someone else is doing!!!!!!!!! If it's legal than just shutup mind your own business and move on! I think it's so pathetic that people spend there time worrying about everyone else!!!!!!!! I could care less how anyone else hunts!!!!!!!! I'm to busy living my life!!!!!!!! SICK AND TIRED OF THESE TYPES OF THREADS!!!!!!!!!

Reading this crap is kinda funny when you actually stop and think about it. All these great hunters against baiting because it's lazy slob hunting. Just because they get a little sweaty planting their food plot, or hang their stand on the trail coming from the corn field, they are REAL hunters! Not like the lazy guy who bought his corn at Wal-Mart! Remember when they leaglized crossbows? It was the end of bow hunting. All the big bucks would be killed by cheaters with crossbows. Same comments you read here were said then. But, crossbows weren't the end of bow season. And baiting in Kentucky hasn't brought on the extinction of deer in that state. Nor, do the Tennessee deer near the state line run over to Kentucky to eat bait and be slaughtered! They have been baiting bears, deer, and other animals for decades in other states with no harm to the hunting. But in Tennessee, it would be the end of the world.

Any of you anti-baiters ever hunt over a prepared dove field? Not one that was baited with wheat to shoot doves over, the ones sewn with wheat for the benefit of all wildlife. Like a TWRA dove field on a WMA. In my opinion, this is just an excuse to justify hunting over bait. The doves really don't care which wheat field they fly into, they are coming to eat, and you are hunting over grain thrown on the ground. The name "Dove Field" should be a dead give away as to why the seed was put out!

I would like to see TWRA pick a county or three, or a WMA, and leaglize baiting for one year to study the effects of baiting deer. Then we would all know if it would be the end of hunting as we know it.

and those counties would be banished from tennessee and probably stricken from the state maps also. THE END IS NEAR!!!
