Ton of hours. My 2011 has 34 hours and 350 miles. Mine's an 800 with extras.
I'm trading up to a 2013 in six months. Let me know if you may be interested
Extended warranty also.

Ok, first off I will state I am not a fan of polaris 4 wheelers, that stems from the mechanical/repair side of things (and I feel there are much better machines out there)
With that aside, lets say the gentleman purchased it a yr. ago............with the info. you stated, it would mean he rides it about everyday for @ 6 miles. If you has a farm/ranch and he tends to animals or uses it to do chores, that is not alot of hrs/mileage. Just because he is not rough on it doesn't mean that is any better for the machine either..............
Personally, if you can manage the cost of the machine, it is a fair deal considering the ext. wty package. My advise is to keep it on a strict PM program and learn all you can about replacing the drive belt!!!!!!!

I bought a 2003 Ranger used in 2006. It had 500 hours on it when I bought it - like FDXX75 mentions above, it was owned by a farmer who used it a lot for checking fences, etc. I've only put an additional 250 hours on it since 2006, but I must say it has been bulletproof (knock on wood!) so far. I haven't had to do anything but normal maintenance, however I did do a complete service (changed all the fluids, brake pads, air filter, drive belt, etc.) right after I bought it.

Tough machines and the only drawback I have that they are bulky so most of the time I just use the 4 wheeler .
