I don't even know how I am typing right now, I am so upset! With an hour of light left, I headed to my parents place with my bow, and no real expectations. When I was getting all my stuff ready, I realized I did not have my release. I thought I would be able to shoot with my fingers but I was wrong. I haven't seen a good buck all year long but of course was offered a 30 yd broadside shot at at a 140" deer 15 minutes into my sit. Shot went 6" high. That was one lucky deer.

Dang that sux! I probably would have went home i know i cant shoot mine without a release.

Ok. I might have left out the the part about missing another one five minutes after the big one. About a 120" 8.
Worst day in the woods ever.

LOL, I have forgot my release, twice! I am talking in the tree, sitting there and then like... WTH? LMBO...
Now I have a spare in my pack that is ALWAYS packed with the same stuff all season regards of weapon and goes with me everytime out.

I buckle my release around my riser , that way the only way I forget
my release is I forget my bow. Hope this helps on the next time.
