Saw this antler mounting kit at the store and thought I'd give it a try.

What do y'all think?

I did one , look ok when I got done , but I had to modify it heavily to get the horns the same as they was before I cut them of the original skull plate.

Looks good. How do the antlers attach?

I finished one last week with the real skull and just comparing, the major difference I see is on the real thing the openings in the skull below the eye sockets are open. Yours look like the skull plate is solid????

Looks good! I did one and added a little textured paint to mix it up a little!

They attach with screws. There are some good videos on youtube showing the process.

I plan on getting 2 of these.I mounted my first 2 "rack" bucks I killed when I was 17 and 18,and now regret it,they aren't that big and the taxidermist who did them did a bad job on them,so im gonna zip the antlers off and mount them on the skull master. Looks good.

JayB painted his with some textured paint and it looks more natural.
I have not painted mine and am pretty happy with it.
