Any of you ever eat deer testicles? I have eat some from a hog before but never deer.. In fact I think I have only ever heard of 1 person eating them..

The local deer processor that is down the road from my house collected some and fried them like tenderloin last year. I must admit that they were pretty good.

Lol not lacking anything! Each to his or her own but I don't knock it till I have tried it. Yes I eat souse too and I know how and what it is made of. Stirred the kettle when I was a kid.

I have had mountain oysters as a kid and told I liked them. I have eaten many a squirrel's brain and when fixed right hog brains and scrabbled eggs are good. I will try at least one bite of anything I watch the cook eat, providing I have not tried it before.

Never had the urge to try them,I've always left them with the gutpile!I have heard of people tanning the sack to make a nice pouch with a drawstring tho

Here is the best way to prepare them. First let me say the younger bucks are better. Get them on ice quickly after you kill the deer. And don't freeze them. Skin them out and get the membrane off of them. Cut them in half. Coat them with mayonnaise with a little Dales marinade on both sides and leave them on ice or in the frig. over night. Put them on the grill, salt and pepper them to taste. Don't over cook them.

Son made a purchase at a gift shop while on vacation in Myrtle Beach some years back, paying with cash from his deer scrotum pouch w/drawstring. The young female clerk asked, "What's that you're carrying your money in?" Son matter-of-factly answered, "It's a deer scrotum". Clerk said, "A what?!!". Again, son replied, "A deer scrotum". Female clerk looked befuddled & her male co-worker, resting comfortable on a stool behind the counter, had a VERY amused smile on his face!

I had a buddy in high school that covered his gearshift with a scrote....it didn't last long when folks continued pointing out that he was rubbing a scrote 5 times everytime a light turned green
