Ive never coon hunted but is this common? Seems like they are always chasing down there dogs on property they arent supposed to be on. Guess since its under the cover of darkness its OK.

Dogs cannot read No Tresassing signs. Their fool azz owners can. I would string up 500 feet of piano wire about 5 foot off of the ground thru all the trees around there. Depending on how fast they are going when they hit it decides how much UTV gets torn up.

I guess you know if you put out Boobie traps you are liable for injuries they might recieve.

Really bad advice Trust me you will loose everything you own if you go that route. Trust me one guy up here did that and one of them stepped on one of them.

On our rural property , after getting pics similar to yours ( two dudes on 4 wheelers at 1:00 in the morning ) I added these words to our posted signs " this property is now booby trapped, travel at your own risk " ! It wasn't but problem solved.
Present day surburban property , another trail cam stolen about a month ago . Now there is one that is defective ( imagine that ) that has a tracking device in it , exactly like the ones worn in ankle bracelets, if the cam moves outof the 100 ft "fence " it is tracking ,,, all the way into their house step by step ,, Imagine when we get to knock on that door with an officer to ask for our camera back ?

Coon hunters have the rite to hunt wherever they want. As long as their gone before you get there. Your lucky they didnt see your camera. I tried to keep them out of my place all year, just gave up,someone else can have the lease next year.

Last year coon hunters we had never seen were sitting in their truck on the road, I guess listening for their dogs. I watched them pull into my neighbors driveway, a single woman. I eased over there in the dark with a handgun, she met them in the driveway with a shotgun. They talked to her for a minute and I stepped into the light of their truck they looked like they had seen a ghost. They havent been back. They said they had permission down the road.

that piano wire thing is dangeroud what if they went on a four wheller back there?? they would get decapatated

I by no means think tresspassing is okay,and I hope you catch whoever it is and it shouldnt be hard they must live close by to be using the mule for hunting.But all the people on here talking about stringing up wire in hopes of hurting someone and sneaking up on them with guns trying to scare them you pull a gun on me you had better be shooting at me and you had better not miss on the first shot because you wont get a second one! The last time someone was shooting towards me at night while coonhunting on land I had permisson to hunt lays down and starts peeing on thier self when they hear a dog bark.I'm very easy going person but I dont deal with stupid people very good.

I would feel terrible for those TRESSPASSERS getting hurt BREAKING THE LAW!!! The second you break the law.....your rights end!
