Stopped by hardees saturday night.I was in my hunting clothes. A elderly man and woman were seated in a booth. The man got up for a refill and began talking to me. He asked if i had any luck. I said no. He went back to his seat and l got my food. As i was leaving he wished me good luck. His wife looks up and says you need to leave them deer along. I stopped and ask her what she was eating and she said a hamburger. I just grinned real big at her and she said this is different somebody else killed it. I just let out a big ol horse laugh and left. I looked back as I was going through the door and the man was laughing too.
Gotta love em

Yep, some folks know it's an emotional, not logical thing, and don't care, they're still gonna play their hand out.
They'll never make sense logically or biologically, and if they got down to the brass tacks on those two approaches (i.e. see a pic of a fawn that has starved, deer dying of EHD, etc), they'd lose the emotional argument as well.

I just always tell the "bambi lovers" in a nice way, would you rather us hunters take deer or let them starve due to over population or have them jump threw your windshield @ 70mph ..... that usually shuts em up

Yeah, leave those innocent deer alone. That's why I only shoot the guilty looking ones...

Gal at the office here was sad about the deer that my young hunting companion shot last night. I told her that when we got to the body, we found a switchblade that had fallen out of the deer's pocket.
Told her it was a lucky thing we got there when we did, before he could harm anyone.
