Yeah, sucks that it happened the way it did - I hate favoritism in the workplace; however it is something that is probably encountered more often than not.
Unfortunately, TN is a "right to work" state, which basically translates into a "right to fire" state - your employer can let you go without having to provide a reason. That is where you have to be carefully before kicking the hornet's nest. You stir up enough dirt and you are liable to end up terminated.

Most companies of any size have a "Hotline" that goes to HR and/or the executive management team.
If you want the other guys punished, drop a dime on 'em.
If you want restitution for your penalty... well, if they were enforcing written policy, may be an uphill climb and you'll only shine the light on yourself going forward.
But as someone else posted, life isn't fair and EVERYONE needs to accept that.

Just remember if those two get fired and they find out it was you that told there buddys will still be higher up the chain of command than you and it might be ruff on you afterwards especially if the superiors get in trouble for not doing the right thing

Tough call and wanting to just be treated fair is not ratting ! If you decide to go futher then tell those effected you plan to do so and that there may be some problems .If they complain then and there may be the choice you are looking for inside . If you do not have a union good luck in the fairness policy . I would pray about this and doing what you seem to be fair may in up in being problems down the road for you . I have always had the luxury of at least being heard without consequences but that don't always mean you will get treated the way you think you should . The only mark on my almost 40 year career is for not taking a midday shower and that was because it was a mess . They ended up firing a guy because he left work without a shower which was mandatory (mercury hygine) and they were protecting their selves by writing everyone up (16) that didn't take the midday shower. I protested that a verbal was actually the policy and then if you commit another within a certain time frame a written was next but to protect the company they wrote us all up which was totally unfair .I have been before management before but never had much luck even though they admit wrong doing .Without a union you don't have much going for you against management but you may can at least with respect let them know that you feel that you have been miss treated .Some times it may be better to turn the other cheek !

It sucks but you cannot win if they are tied to a higher up person. My advice is to just do the best YOU can and look out for #1, you. The other guys will get what's coming to them. Best for you to stay out of it IMO. Good luck. It matters how high up they are tied to! I would send anonymus letters (yes, letters....) until something was done. You have to stand up for what you believe in even if you stand alone! Be prepared to hunt another job just in case. (by anonymus, I mean, in different hand writing, different ink/pencil...it will make them think it is more than one person)

Sorry, but it will be a waste of time. If it was something currently happening that they could investigate.........yes. This is all old news and the company will not waste their time on it.
