You hunting alone? Sounds like it's turned into a high pressure job for you, and not an escape into the woods. I've taken much more pleasure recently in the camaraderie of the hunt, hitting the woods with a friend or a kid. Doubles the stories, the sightings, and reviewing the hunt is a good time.

Take a weekend off and go fishing or do something else you enjoy. That is what I did this past weekend and I am energized to get back after the deer this week.

I am gonna take a shot in the dark here and say, you are bored with it at the very moment. You have 3 in the freezer, probably enough to get you through the year easily(so the pressure is off there) You have had the thrills/joy of harvesting/killing/taking/shooting(did I cover all of them)your deer and you just flat out need to add a little change to the mix of it.
Ain't nothing wrong with you at all, it is your life, your desires and by all means................go hunt squirrels.

Fulldraw i think you naild it. Its has been since this warm/rainy weather thats took the excitement oura it. Im gonna go out in the morning since its gona be cold. Wish my kids were old enough to hunt but ive got a few years till then

Take a kid from your community or a niece or nephew ...... You dont have to wait till your are old enough.

I started taking both my kids when they were @ 5y/o, I did it the right way, short easy hunts, and we only stayed as long as your attention span allowed. You have to make it fun/interesting for them or you will loose them in the no fun zone of it.
Now, to me squirrel hunting would be a great way to keep them interested, if you have a good area with lots of activity, it makes for a good day.
