Ok thanks. I was thinking about signing up(if i get drawn) for the frist turkey hunt. and maybe making a vacation out of it. would the hunting be wroth the time and money?

Show up a couple days early and do your homework. Be in ur spot early. Itll pay off. If u get on mouthy birds expect hunters to show up and the birds to shut up, Wait em out, birds aint goin nowhere.

nate17 is right about doing your homework. It's such a huge expanse of land that it can be frustrating if you come in blind.

I have buddies that camp and hunt there every year, but like rafi said, they are hard to hunt.
