Ithaca 37 is the only way to go. 
Do they make shotguns that aren't pumps?! I didn't realize that???

the Mossberg 835 and 935 usually will not cycle them due to the overbore of the barrels. maybe that is what you are thinking of.
They will cycle high-brass 2 3/4 loads all day long.

I recomend buying a gun for everything but turkey hunting. You can use it to turkey hunt until you save up the money for a 3.5" gun.

Remington 870 is hard to beat. Ive got two, a 12&20. Love em both. Ive had a bps and didnt care for it at all. Took it on a crow hunt and sold it shortly after. My goto gun right now is a remington 1187 but for the money a 870 cant be beat.
