My oldest daughter stated driving last year at 16. 2004 Nissan Xterra. Farm Bureau $97.00 a month full coverage. Me, my wife and now 17 year old pay $595 every 3 months for full coverage. I called State Farm because i keep getting this crap in the mail from them and they wanted $400 a MONTH. It was a tough decision that i wrestled with but decided to stay with FB.

Was thinking of swapping my homeowners from farm Bureau to State farm. I pay 985 a year with them. State farm quoted me almost 2400 a year. Used to have my auto with them and very serously thinking about going back. State farm can kiss my rear.

We just switched to Farm Bureau last week.We was paying $110/month for full coverage on my truck, and liability on my wifes car. I thought that was too much since we have never had a wreck or ticket. So I called state farm, and they quoted me at $108/month..Then I called Farm Bureau, $72/month for the same insurance and deductables...When they told me that,I said where do I sign..LOL

Had Farm Bureau on my trucks, houses, life, boats, and 4 wheelers since I turned 16 in 1988. Never had a problem. Never wanted to go anywhere else.

Got tired of State Farm going up on me when our agent retired and handed us off to some guy that never seemed to give two shats. Found out my son was going to school with the son of the guy who runs farm bureau Rutherford county. I called him up and asked him to price me up based on the statement of coverage I currently had and he saved me almost 3500 a year..

But they have gone up twice in the two years I've been there. I just had to pay 145 above what I had escrowed on my home and got a bill in asking for 245 more last week. Me and Andy are having a talk tomorrow. Knock on wood in twenty three years of having insurance I have only had two minor claims...one on guns that were stolen in 98 and one for hail damage on my truck in 2011. I'm about tired of insurance.... But lord forbid
